About Kampfam RV

I started professionally as a mechanic in 1977 working for the US Air Force on F-4 fighters. Before that, I tinkered with whatever I could put my hands on.  I have always had a curioity as to how things work and a gift for understanding the workings of systems.  I’ve worked in 8 different shops on semi trucks and heavy off-road equipment before doing a career change and going into IT as a network engineer.  After 20 years as a Novell and Microsoft network engineer, I decided it was time to go back to my first love which was helping people keep their mechanical devices back on the road where they can enjoy them.  Most of these devices are now so computer controlled that it takes a network engineer to figure them out.  As a reasult, I find that my two sets of job experiences put me in the best position to diagnose and repair these devices and systems.  What is a mystery to some is uderstandable to me, and I’m enjoying what I do, what more could one want!  In 2017 I bought Danny’s RV, changed the name to Kampfam RV a year later and learned the intricies of RV systems.  It didn’t take to long to realize there was a lack of qualified and competent RV mechanics out there.  When my lease was up and due to COVID fallout, I decided it would be better to go out alone as a mobile tech and provide the quality repairs and services I offered at the shop at the customers location.  Thus far, this has been a good business model, I have complete control over my quality, customer satisfaction, and the integrity of my repairs.  My business model is built on two things, quality of repair and customer satisfaction.  You can trust that I will give you both.

I use the experiences I have gained over the past 40+ years in various mechanical fields to provide you with best in class RV repair service.  I strive to not overbook my schedule so that I can be there on time and get your repair diagnosed and completed in a timely fashion.  The pictures on this site are actual pictures taken of repairs I have done for my customers.
